To Brooklyn Bridge ….

Never in my plans had I thought of visiting you Marvelous
Out from the McDonalds outlet
Somewhere in a lane of the Manhattan borough
We walked with no aim in our mind
Of how to explore Newyork …

We were a huddle of nine...
A cluster as diversified as the buildings of NY
We roamed around and roamed
Two lanes down, me saw you hanging tall
Alluring all the eyes around…

Deep in my Mind, I decided to walk over and cross you beauty
Somehow I did managed to talk into my kinfolk
And they too capitulated to your splendor
We had an accord for the first time
And decisively walked over you…

From top of you I saw the East River gracefully saluting your might
I yearned I could be a wave so that I could dissolve in the East river
Go beneath the waters and touch your feet
I aspired I could be dust so that I could vanish in the thin air
Take off to the skies and Salute you from the top

Touched the Ropes in which you are Hanged in freely
Caught a Glimpse of Manhattan Sky scrapers
Through the Silver strands which looked like a fisherman’s net
Walked with Paramount freedom over you
As the Insightful engineering made a different way for Vehicle traffic

From top of you I discovered New York
I threw my first sight in to Brooklyn
I felt proud of myself to stand on top of you
I’m sure you will remain like this forever….
As you is the bridge of a generation Gap

Oh Hanging Gorgeous…my friend
Remain like this for me to come and salute you again!
